San Onofre, California Campground Camp Pendleton - Military Only

by Jim
(So. Orange County, CA)

Unfortunately for civilians, this RV park is reserved for active duty personnel. It's a great place though with on-the-beach camping. See your local recruiter if you're interested in camping here!

Use by Civilians

I wish to confirm that DoD Civilians are no longer able to use the facilities at San Onofre. Is that correct? Is it permanent and what is the basis for this decision?

Civilian camping
by: Irma

Years ago my husband and I would get a pass every November for the year and were not military but if i remember correctly they had 45 passes for civilian families first come first serve as long as you were there with a RV registration to get the pass.. you had to have an RV to get the pass. Can you tell me if that program is still around ?

Thank you
Kirma
