We also have just have bough a 1995 fixer upper. Cannot help with your question yet. We are now just starting to go through it. I am just wondering if you have the assist handle porch light by the front door. The handle and light fixture is made all in one. Cannot figure out what type of light to get for ours. We have wire exposed with 12 volt bulb with a switch. I cannot figure out if I have to get a whole light that snaps in or just a lens and the push button mounts somewhere in the lighting frame.

by: Lost in Oregon

We recently bought a 1988 King of the Road 5th Wheel and are in the process of fixing it up, didn’t actually have much damage. However I need an owners manual so that I can figure out where these wires go so that we can get all the lights to work and figure out what the switches are for. If anyone out there can help with this please email me at dasims2010@gmail.com.

HI, I purchased a 2002 King of the Road, Marquis.
Need info on where the switch is for the safety on the propane tanks. We finally had to take it off and hook into the tanks. We searched all over for a knob, switch etc, to open that valve on tanks to let the propane on – but to no success. Where is the switch to hook it back up on the gas line by the tanks for the safety feature of it.

Most if not all manufactures of trailers, fifth wheels and the like do not publish a owners manual. I was told by a exec of a different company when I asked about a wiring diagram (I was there on a factory tour) and was told no manufactures offer such a thing as they run out of one color during production and need to redo the whole diagram, it is just too expensive.
Yes Motor homes do come with much better manuals than trailers do, but also other than the frame and shell all other items are third party and you do not NEED any trailer manufacturer for that you can go direct or third party yourself.

So now the bigger question comes what are you trying to do or get?
