Question: I have a traveling job. My wife and 6 and 8 year olds will be joining me full time starting in June. We are torn between rear living room for the spacious layout or bunkhouse for the bedroom for the kids. Any help or opinions on this are appreciated. I am looking at around a 33 ft 5th wheel with a truck that has a maximum tow capacity of 13,000 lbs.
Answer: We invite comments on this one. In our view it is a matter of personal opinion and we encourage you to really think through how you will use the space. Envision having meals, watching TV, spending evenings, schooling, going to bed and so forth.
We have never traveled with children, but our gut reaction would be to give them their own space for sleeping and playing and stick a TV/DVD player in there.
Other comments welcome.
