Camper Jacks

by Tanner (North Dakota)

Question: The camper jacks trip the breaker in our camper. Would this be faulty wiring or a bad ground?

Answer: It could be either, or some other cause entirely. The jacks could be overheating because they are not moving freely.

When we bought our 5th wheel the dealer told us not to retract them all the way up otherwise it will trip the circuit. Guess what we did the first time out!
